The first round of Czech Open series took place last weekend in Kolin with nice amount of around 60 entries. A lot of water hit the track on Friday, which didn’t allow anyone to practice, but the track crew swept it away and we had great surface for the whole Saturday.
Martin Bayer took double TQ in Nitro and Ebuggy, with me in 2nd, Dominik Vlasek 3rd in Ebuggy and Daniel Hofman 3rd in Nitro.
The finals saw very close battles between me and Martin, but he managed to come out on top in both classes again after swapping the positions many times. TOP3 remained the same from qualifying, Vlasek 3rd in Ebuggy and Hofman 3rd in Nitro.
Next up is the 2nd round in Terezin in two weeks time!
